nov 1 2003 danny howells was at arc every month. he plays nyc once or twice in 2008. DH's latest Renaissance cd is great, deep melodic and funky!

nov 5 2003 aerial love feeed [now rockethouse] were at pianos. one of nycs best bands of the 21st century, I dont know if RH are playing any gigs anymore 5 years later? setlist:
retrieve the history. cb. lock n load. cutdown. pedestal. doomsville. rockethouse. temporary glitch.

nov 6 2003. the alps were at sin e. sin e closed about 3 years ago, a much missed LES rock bar/barn. I met karen elson & elise crombez there in dec 2003.

nov 7 2003 the bluetones were at mercury lounge! wow britpop flashback. I saw the BT at westbeth maybe 1999 great show !!
* the same night ambulance ltd was at plaid! formerly spa & the cat club on east 13th st . ambulance's 2nd LP is about 4 years in the making at this point, but should be great in 2009!

nov 12 2003 guided by voices and ambulance ltd were at warsaw in BK! wow what a show!! one can NOT have too many GBV cds !

nov 13 2003 . orange park was at sin e. i listened to OPs 2007 LP 'revelations' recently its awesome !!!!!

nov 14 2003 the von bondies were at mercury lounge . and paul van dyk was at the roxy.

nov 15 2003 nick warren was at avalon [former limelight]. and charming was at tiswas.

nov 20 the white stripes were at roseland. and my favorite was at knitting factory.

nov 21 2003 danny tenaglia & tedd patterson played a great night of funky hard house at ARC/VINYL [formerly NASA] at 6 hubert st. Here's nick's edited review:
"I haven't checked out DT in a while so i figured i might as well head over there...got there at about 3:30AM, Tedd Patterson was rocking that place i must say, keeps u moving. Danny went on a little after 4, took him a while to get into it, but once he did that place was a blast.
To The music: (i wasnt there that long, i left at like 6am but)..Danny was playing some jams:
~~Hydraulic Dogs - Shake It Baby -- what a happy track, the Phazon was actually pounding full force to this one
~~Queenie!!>>very surprised to hear this track, real old school here>>"fuckin bitch cunt, fuckin bitch cunt"--didnt know Danny rocked this at all...BTW i have no idea what mix this was, def not the MV mix from back in the day....real dope hard progressive keys in it
~~Kelis - Milkshake--another nice track, i love the X-Press 2 mix but it def wasnt that one, much more tribally
~~Iberican Beats...another dope one -- -- he also teased Aphrohead - In The Dark We Live..."i can see the lightttt"...not sure if he played it later on. wish i would have stayed later but my boy was feeling real sick

I spent thanksgiving 2008 with danny at cielo, it was a solid **** set from classic house to deep hard tech-house. DT is a living legend, only a handful of DJs ever are on his level. pretty much anyone who calls themselves a "DJ" should find about Danny Tenaglia. It will be an education.

nov 26 2003 danny tenaglia and portugal's dj vibe played extraordinary thanksgiving eve sets of twisted progressive tribal house at ARC. DT has long been was a contender for worlds greatest dj. I would have to say in 2008 DJ Vibe is slightly better, but it's oh so close at the top !

Sweet Dreams (Frank 'O Moiragh Deep Mix) out of the endless mixes to this track this is by far my fave mix, good choice DT

nov 28 2003 and DT played ARC/Vinyl for the 2nd time in a week with a set of house classics. Once again, DTs Thanksgiving set 2008 at Cielo was a solid **** party last week.
