jan 4, 1995 wednesday nights were DISCO 2000 at the limelight, generally regarded as THE most debauched weekly of the 90s in nyc. weekly luminaries incl richie rich, michael alig, keoki, astro earl.

jan 5 1995 I went to beavher at don hills, with al phillipps from the zerovision cable show. frankie was playing great retro 70s tunes. also started the night/pre-game at barroom, cant recall where that was. on st marks? lower east?

jan 6 1995 the tunnel was THE friday night party, going way afterhours in at least 7 or 8 rooms. until 11 am or noon sunday. true!

jan 7 1995 back to the tunnel on a saturday night where al zero & i shot video of some queens girls for our cable shows incl the weather report. tunnel's been closed maybe, 10 years now? so our video of tunnel twilo etc is archival, nyc nightlife history.

jan 19 1995 back to beavher with guests donovan & nigel from nancy boy. seems like donno & nig moved to LA ca. 2000? both have families/babies. donno sometimes sings with Camp Freddy. and MC Johnny Fayva ? I Love LA lool.

jan 20 1995 the Bliss party at club velvet on west 20th st. Gosh..duvet/centrofly just closed ...Bliss.... maybe 11th ave?

jan 21 1995 club expo in times sq, later known as club new york. and a WWF RAW site? I cant even recognize Times Sq. also met pop/conceptual artist/critic cary liebowitz at the tunnel. and the late kirsty macccoll was at the fez. great venue, FEZ under TIME Cafe.

jan 26 1995 "light dark & shade" at demerara at 215 west 28th st. dr walker of air liquide laid down one of the best live techno PAs Ive ever heard! 'no gimmicks just serious dancefloor thrills' support from techno djs: keoki, db & gillman. house: jason jinx, joeski & reese. and jungle juice: soul slinger, delmar, dara & cassien. guests al zero phillips & heather summerfield. why am I the only person talking about Air Liquide in 2009??

popular bands in jan 1995 incl the britpop acts gene, shed 7, clinton [!], cast, supergrass, marion, menswear, drugstore, weekender, ash, bluetones, mcalmont & butler, sleeper, elastica, suede, & blur. oasis released their great 45 'whatever' xmas week 1994. 15 years later, Oasis havent made a good album since 90s, and Noel is solo in 2010 [??]

some of favourite art shows in jan 1995 incl charles ray & jeff koons at barbara gladstone, kevin landers at david zwirner, franz kline at the whitney, the controversial but trenchant 'black male' show at the whitney, tatsuo miyajima at luhring augustine, cindy sherman at metro pictures, andreas gursky at 303 gallery, & danny lyon at lowinsky. that's a lot of great shows..by artists that almost never show in soho in 2010 ...

films in jan 1995 incl 'hard ticket to hawaii' on cinemax with dona speir & hope marie carlton. hard to believe but dona is 1 of my all time favourite actresses !!!!

my business meetings in jan 1995 incl schmidt bingham gallery on 57th st, manhattan file magazine with christina greeven cuomo [now manhattan File], andrea rosen, & gallery henoch.
